Here at The Roost we try to use only Scottish ingredients and will go that extra mile to source Scottish meat and fish for our menus. It is our philosophy that because Scotland’s larder is both interesting and plentiful, its seasons and varieties are the best guide for cooking as well as eating. Everything on our menus is made on the premises by Tim, from the bread to the ice-cream, so we know exactly what goes into every item, and can also adapt our dishes for specific dietary requirements.

We will be closed for our annual holiday from Sunday 25th July, reopening during the day on Thursday 5th August and for dinners from Friday 6th August. We are able to take bookings by email during our holiday period.
